What Morning Ready does
Morning Ready helps parents track school lunch menus and activity schedules for their children. It uses that information to flag risky lunch days and send a daily email brief.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, collected when you sign in.
- Child profiles: your child's name, food dislikes, allergies, and dietary rules — entered by you.
- Menus and schedules: school lunch menus and activity schedule data you upload or paste.
- Notification preferences: your chosen email time and timezone.
- Feedback: lunch outcome ratings you submit (ate well, didn't eat, etc.).
How we use it
- To score each lunch day against your child's preferences.
- To send your daily email brief at the time you choose.
- To improve scoring accuracy based on your feedback over time.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising.
Third-party services
- Supabase — stores your account and app data securely.
- Anthropic Claude — processes menu and schedule text to extract structured data. Input text is sent to Anthropic's API; no data is retained for training without consent.
- Resend — delivers email notifications.
- Google — optional sign-in via Google OAuth.
- Vercel — hosts the application.
Data retention
Your data is retained while your account is active. You can delete all your data at any time from the profile page using "Reset account and start over." This permanently removes your account, child profiles, menus, and scores.
Children's data
Morning Ready is designed for use by parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children. All child profile data is entered by the parent or guardian who owns the account.
